Waipukurau Hospital

Status: Abandoned,10 years (burnt down 2010)
Located: Waipukurau, Hawkes Bay

Due to a fire that is believed to have been lite by arson on the early morning of 25 January 2010, Waipukurau hospital is now extremely unsafe and the 3 storey building (pictured left) has collapsed. Sadly another old hospital gone, let's just hope the people of Waipuk keep the history alive. I am glad we got in there to photograph the place while it still stood.
I hope those who vandalized the property are caught and brought to justice.
