Healthy Nutritious Meals
Children attending full day childcare services are provided with morning and afternoon tea and a full midday meal featuring healthy nutritious foods. Special dietary needs for health or cultural reasons are catered for.
Please feel free to discuss any special food considerations with our staff.
All children have supervised daily access to our safe, spacious and fully equipped outdoor play and recreation areas.
Positive Guidance
We practise positive guidance by role modelling good behaviour and teaching the children how to behave. Our Ka Pai table is an example of how we praise those children who have responded and displayed positive behaviour.
Our qualified and experienced childcare and teaching staff will work in partnership with you towards the physical, emotional, social, cultural and intellectual enrichment of your child.
All groups have a high teacher to child ration with close interaction and involvement.
Storypark
We use Storypark to help involve you in your child's learning journey!
It is a way to share and communicate privately with the people that matter most to your child. Its a place to view and share photos, videos and observations of your child's learning. It helps begin a record of your child's learning journey that you can access anytime and will cherish forever.

The older Tamariki at Urban Explorers have the opportunity to take part in Friday Sport with coach Steve! It is loads of fun and they learn valuable skills and sportsmanship lessons.
